Textile Service Worker, Comforta Oy, Sodankylä

Are you the TEXTILE SERVICE WORKER we are looking for?

We are currently recruiting Textile Service Workers for our client, Comforta, in Sodankylä for the summer of 2026.

This position is ideal for students looking for summer employment or anyone seeking part-time work during the summer. There may also be opportunities to continue working after the summer season.

As a Textile Service Worker, your responsibilities will include sorting laundry, washing, finishing and packing textiles. Due to the physical nature of the work, we expect applicants to be in good physical condition.The employment contracts are initially on an on-call basis until the end of August. However, there may be opportunities for longer-term employment later on. You will have the flexibility to influence your work schedule and accept shifts according to your availability. If you have good availability and are able to work flexibly, you are likely to receive close to full-time hours during most weeks.The position is available for an immediate start or as agreed. Employment terms and conditions are based on the Collective Agreement for the Textile Service Industry.

No previous experience in the textile service industry is required, as you will receive comprehensive training. What matters most to us is your willingness to learn.

Salary

The starting hourly wage is 11,75€ per hour + collective agreement allowances. Previous relevant experience will be taken into account when determining the final salary.
